SEOUL, October 9 — Rumors about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra have surfaced, pointing to notable upgrades in battery life and charging speed for the device expected early next year. According to a report by Geeky Gadgets citing Roland Hutchinson, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is said to feature a larger battery than its predecessor, aiming to support longer use during demanding activities such as gaming, HD video streaming, and AI applications.
The device is also rumored to support faster charging, which would reduce the time needed to power up compared to the previous model. At the heart of the phone, the Exynos 2700 processor is expected to handle intensive tasks like multitasking, gaming, and AI workloads efficiently, with a larger vapor chamber cooling system to help sustain performance during extended use.
Design leaks suggest the Galaxy S27 Ultra will come in four base colors: black, blue, light pink, and white, continuing Samsung’s sleek and premium aesthetic. The Ultra model will lead a lineup that includes the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, and Galaxy S27 Pro, with regulatory certifications for all four models already appearing, indicating an imminent launch. While the Galaxy S27 Pro and other models in the series are also expected to receive battery improvements, specific details about those upgrades have not been disclosed.
It remains unclear whether the non-Ultra models will include the faster charging capability rumored for the Ultra version. Samsung’s tradition of unveiling flagship devices in the first quarter of the year aligns with the reported early 2024 timeline, positioning the company to influence the annual smartphone market.
The reported advancements in battery technology, charging speed, processing power, and design aim to set new benchmarks in the premium segment, though all details remain based on leaks and certifications as of the reporting date. Consumers and industry watchers will look for official confirmation from Samsung in the coming months to verify these rumored specifications.
